David is looking forward to his continued connection with the Lake Macquarie team, clients, and the local boating community. David’s new CEO role will encompass responsibility for Empire Marinas’ Lake Macquarie and Bobbin Head marinas including the Waterside Bistro and 3 Freedom Boat Clubs.

David brings extensive experience in the marine and marina Industries with a career spanning the New Zealand Navy, hospitality, yacht charter, yacht club facilities management and marina management.

Our local boating community will know David from his previous role as General Manager of Empire Marina Lake Macquarie and part of the executive management team of Empire Marinas Group.

David is passionate about the marine industry and has formed connections with many organisations along with significant Lake Macquarie boating events in recent years as GM of Empire Marina Lake Macquarie.
